(Shared Services Part I) Advanced Look at Public-Public Partnerships
and Structuring Shared Services Agreements – Ferrante II & III (Breakout Rooms; Ferrante III, and Colton I, II, & III)

This workshop is designed to deliver a hands-on experience for participants
coming from DoD and defense communities, and consultants. The workshop is
divided into two major components. In the first half of the session, representatives
will highlight the successes and challenges of their respective partnership
arrangements.

Following these presentations, workshop participants will have an opportunity
to experience a state-of-the-art P4 simulation exercise. Presenters will outline
the parameters of a table-top exercise that was developed at Quantico
and successfully brought together representatives from more than 30 different
local communities, interest groups and DoD organizations. Since that
time, the P4 simulation exercise has been re-defined and applied to other
P4s.

To accomplish this exercise, the workshop participants will be divided
into several small working groups. Under the guidance of an experienced
facilitator, the small groups will conduct a table-top exercise that practices
the initial steps for creating new successful partnerships among a multitude
of possible stakeholders. This one-of-a-kind learning experience will
conclude the workshop and provide the audience with a unique perspective
for future collaborations in their own respective communities.

This exciting pre-conference session is Part 1 of a 3-part event. Part 2 will feature an interactive mobile tour of the Presidio of Monterey on Tuesday, August 7, from 8:30 AM to 11:30 AM.  Part 3 will be an after-action review that will look ahead at next steps.  ADC highly encourages conference attendees to register for this innovative and engaging experience!

ADC’s newest council brings together those interested in furthering renewable energy projects on DoD lands. The council will facilitate the exchange of valuable industry feedback on renewable energy project development in the military services, share best practices, challenges and issues between industry leaders and identify ways to improve renewable energy project development. The group will also share lessons learned and recommendations for improvements with DoD leaders and provide feedback to the ADC Board of Directors on ways ADC as an organization can advance and improve the development of renewable energy projects. All interested stakeholders are invited to attend the inaugural meeting.
