With 55 years of combined congressional and military service among them, the partners of The Roosevelt Group offer unparalleled service and expertise to clients in a variety of fields, with an emphasis on defense, homeland security, and intelligence issues. The firm leverages knowledge, relationships and insight with strategic advocacy to achieve high-impact results. The Roosevelt Group measures its success by the success of its clients, and the firm’s partners have a proven record of accomplishment. During the BRAC 2005 round, the firm represented a number of states, cities, and associations with interests at 16 military installations. All 16 bases were either protected from the BRAC list, grew as a result of the process, or were removed from the BRAC list and saved from closure. This level of success has allowed The Roosevelt Group to grow its BRAC practice, now representing some of the largest defense communities in the country and other entities that understand the value in a long-term strategy to protect and grow their local military installations. John Simmons, Christopher Goode and Bert Steele are the founding partners of The Roosevelt Group, and the 2012 ADC Winter Forum marks The Roosevelt Group’s debut as an independent firm.
