Air Force Opens First Building under Hill AFB EUL
Officials at Hill Air Force Base and local leaders on Wednesday celebrated the completion of the first building developed under the Falcon Hill enhanced use leasing (EUL) project, a $1.5 billion collaboration among DOD, Woodbury Corp. and the state of Utah.
The 35,000-square-foot building will house the 75th Security Forces Squadron, which protects the 388th Fighter wing, 419th Fighter Wing, the five wings of the Ogden Air Logistics Center and other associated units. Two more buildings developed as part of the 550-acre project will open in the next 45 days, reported the Standard-Examiner.
Workers will start constructing Falcon Hill’s fourth facility, a commercial office building, in several months, said Jeff Woodbury, vice president of development for Woodbury Corp.
