Army, Trammell Crow Close to Reaching Deal on Ft. Meade EUL
Nearly five years after it was selected by the Army as its enhanced use leasing (EUL) partner, Trammell Crow is close to reaching a final deal to build 10 office buildings at Fort Meade, Md.
An agreement, which calls for the construction of 1.7 million square feet of office space, could be signed by August, reported the Odenton Patch. The Army will use the revenue generated under the EUL deal to design and build a new golf course to replace the current one which will be the site of new development. Initially, Trammell Crow was to design and build the replacement golf course.
The developer hopes to begin construction on its first building early next year, according to the story.
