If you haven’t had a chance, check out the Fort McPherson LRA’s new website to read the slick new brochure the authority just released promoting its plans for the Georgia Science & Technology Park.

The 127-acre bioscience park would represent approximately one-fourth of the redevelopment project at McPherson, located in southwest Atlanta. For those who haven’t followed the LRA’s planning efforts for the 488-acre post, the brochure makes a compelling case for devoting the public and private resources needed to turn the tremendous promise offered by the bioscience park into reality.

The park is projected to generate 5,000 new jobs within the first 10 years of redevelopment in the nation’s fastest growing industry. It also has the potential to enhance the region’s reputation in the world of science and technology, according to the brochure.
