Two new tenants will be moving into the former Riverbank Army Ammunition Plant shortly, giving the northern California redevelopment project more than two dozen tenants.

Denver-based Repsco, which uses recycled plastics to make shipping materials, plans to start operations with 10 workers early next year, reported the Modesto Bee. A second production line will start several months later, with plans calling for a total of 30 to 80 employees within five years.

KKI Corp. — a Modesto, Calif., IT firm that provides technical support — will finish moving into Riverbank Industrial Park in several weeks with a dozen workers.

By the end of the year, the park’s tenants will employ 300 people, a tremendous jump since the city of Riverbank took over the plant from the Army on April 1, 2010. At that time, there were only 80 workers.

“We are feeling pretty good right now,” said Deborah Olson, executive director of the Riverbank LRA.
