Mississippi County Needs Consultant to Perform JLUS for Columbus AFB

Lowndes County, Miss., the lead agency for the joint land use study (JLUS) for Columbus Air Force Base, is seeking proposals for consulting services to assist in the preparation of the installation’s JLUS. The study will encompass the base as well as any residential, infrastructure, airspace and industrial encroachment.
Proposals are due Jan. 12 at 4:00 p.m. at the county administrator’s office. Copies of the RFP can be obtained at the county’s economic development web site, or by contacting Mary Cates Permenter at firstname.lastname@example.org or 662/242-0349.
The entities involved in the study reserve the right to accept or reject any or all proposals in the best interest of the participants.
