The Senate Armed Services Committee will aim to mark up its version of the fiscal 2020 National Defense Authorization Act the week of May 20, Politico reported.
The tentative plan means the Senate panel will consider the annual defense policy legislation in advance of the House Armed Services Committee, which would be unusual in the annual defense authorization process.
