Klamath Falls Seeks Consultant to Prepare JLUS for Air National Guard Base

The city of Klamath Falls, Ore., is seeking a qualified consultant or consultants to prepare a joint land use study (JLUS) for Kingsley Field, Klamath Falls. The Department of Defense Office of Economic Adjustment provided a grant to the city to conduct a JLUS to support the long-term sustainability and operability of the military installation complex. Interested firms must demonstrate knowledge and experience in community planning, development and land use issues, fiscal impact analysis, economic development, and military installation management and operations.

Interested firms can obtain the request for proposals, which outlines the information necessary to understand the consultant selection process and the required documentation, from the city’s website.

Letters of interest and proposals shall be submitted no later than 4 p.m. PST on Oct. 27 to the Community Development office, 226 South 5th Street, Klamath Falls, OR 97601. Questions should be directed to Sandra Fox, (541) 883-5361.
