North Carolina Needs Consultant for JLUS for Seymour Johnson AFB

The North Carolina Department of Commerce is requesting proposals from qualified vendors to prepare a joint land use study (JLUS) for Seymour Johnson Air Force Base including Dare County Range and associated special use airspace, military training routes, military operations areas and surrounding communities.

Interested firms must demonstrate knowledge and experience in community planning, development and land use issues, agriculture preservation, land conservation, fiscal impact analysis, economic development, and military installation management and operations.

The RFP is available on the state’s purchasing website. Search by either Department (**Purchase and Contract**) or by Bid Number (43-1066-14). Sealed proposals will be received until 4 p.m. on Aug. 18.
