RFPs: Nonprofit Solicits Community Participation in Veteran Suicide Prevention Study; Brunswick Landing Seeks Sewer Pump Upgrades

America’s Warrior Partnership (AWP) is accepting proposals from nonprofits and local governments to participate in Operation Deep Dive, a community-based, veteran suicide prevention study. The study is expected to help identify community-specific risk factors and ways a community already is helping prevent suicides, and proactively address suicide warning signs. Findings from the study also could also be used to obtain funding to implement community-specific initiatives focused on veteran suicide prevention and enhancing quality of life. Participating nonprofits and communities will need to “champion” the three-year study by assigning a project lead to work with AWP and supporting community action team meetings, among other responsibilities. Responses are due Nov. 1. … The Midcoast (Maine) Regional Redevelopment Authority and the Brunswick Sewer District has issued a request for proposals for engineering services related to the upgrade of three sanitary sewer pump stations at Brunswick Landing. Proposals are due Nov. 16.
