The deadline to submit your ideas for sessions at the ADC 2011 Annual Conference in Norfolk, Va., has been extended to Wednesday, April 13. All ADC members, our military and federal partners, and representatives of other government agencies are encouraged to submit proposals.
This year’s call for sessions has been simplified — you only need to submit session abstracts and proposed speakers. If your session abstract is selected, then you will be asked to provide additional details.
Sessions at the Annual Conference fall under the following topics:
- Real Property
- Community Mission Support
- Regional Planning & Sustainability
- Base Redevelopment
- Environmental Remediation
- Military Families
- Other – Emerging Issues
Note: Military family issues will be an important part of the Annual Conference. ADC is interested in topics that highlight community-military partnerships to support a wide range of military family issues, including education, childcare, healthcare, financial security, housing, transportation and workforce development.
The conference will be held at the Norfolk Waterside Marriott from July 17-20. A detailed conference agenda will be available in the coming weeks.
