ADC is launching a new magazine designed to share the stories of its members and military partners. Titled America’s Defense Communities, the magazine will debut at the Defense Communities 2016 National Summit — held June 20-22 in Washington, D.C. — and feature a story on the inaugural class of the Great American Defense Communities program.
“There is an amazing story to tell about how communities, regions and states are supporting our military in enhancing missions and creating great places for service members and their families to live,” said Tim Ford, CEO of ADC. “This unique publication will allow us to share those stories in new ways with an even larger audience.”
The magazine will be shared with thousands of ADC members, DOD contacts and Capitol Hill offices, as well as local contacts in member communities. The upcoming issue also will feature profiles of the 2016 Defense Community Award winners and other stories from the ADC community.
“Too often, the stories of our award winners are told once and to a limited audience,” Ford said. “This magazine will expand exposure and provide the opportunity for sharing great ideas from around the country.”
