Ohio Military Reserve Collects PPE, Medical Equipment Donations

May 1, 2020

Members of the Ohio Military Reserve (OHMR) have been busy at work collecting life-saving medical supplies to support the Ohio Emergency Management Agency and Ohio Department of Health.

“We are behind the scenes,” said Sgt. Maj. Cliff Rittenhouse. “Big and little donations from corporations are going far beyond what the public will see. Between respirators, masks, gloves and ventilator tubes, we are collecting life-saving tools.”

OHMR is comprised of approximately 220 members that assist in medical, logistic, and volunteer support around the state.

Supplies are being distributed to front line medical and emergency personnel combatting coronavirus. Individuals and organizations that can donate PPE should email together@governor.ohio.gov.
