    Allen County, Ohio, has released a notice to bidders and specifications for a communication and social media plan for the county and the Joint Systems Manufacturing Center (JSMC), a government-owned, contractor-operated facility that produces tank and military vehicles. The notice to bidders and specifications are available on Allen County’s webpage. Sealed bids will be accepted until 2 p.m., on April 4, 2016, at which time they will be publicly opened and read aloud. Bids must be submitted on the proposal form furnished by the county and in accordance with specifications and general requirements. The Board of Allen County Commissioners reserves the right to reject any and all bids received and waive any irregularities in favor of the county. Sealed bids are to be in writing and in accordance with specifications furnished by the county.     The Flint Hills Regional Council (FHRC), which represents the municipalities and counties surrounding Fort Riley, Kan., seeks to identify and understand the community economic impacts associated with announced personnel reductions at Fort Riley in order to prepare an organized response to these impacts. The FHRC is seeking consultant proposals to produce a regional community economic impact analysis with a firm deliverables deadline of Nov. 1, 2016.
    The primary scope of work for this project is to adequately understand the potential community economic impact to the region associated with these personnel reductions by conducting an assessment of the direct and ancillary impacts to all critical elements of the social and economic fabric of the region.

    The Gulf Regional Planning Commission (GRPC) is advertising for consultants for two joint land use studies (JLUS) on the Mississippi Gulf Coast.
