Regional Council Seeks Consultant to Assess Impacts of Personnel Cuts at Ft. Riley

The Flint Hills Regional Council (FHRC), which represents the municipalities and counties surrounding Fort Riley, Kan., seeks to identify and understand the community economic impacts associated with announced personnel reductions at Fort Riley in order to prepare an organized response to these impacts. The FHRC is seeking consultant proposals to produce a regional community economic impact analysis with a firm deliverables deadline of Nov. 1, 2016.

The primary scope of work for this project is to adequately understand the potential community economic impact to the region associated with these personnel reductions by conducting an assessment of the direct and ancillary impacts to all critical elements of the social and economic fabric of the region.

The RFP is available on the council’s website. Proposals are due Jan. 31, 2016.
