To get your U.S. House to join the caucus, cut and paste the text below into an email message then send to the congressional staff member(s) you work most closely with. Feel free to personalize it for your community or state.
Thank you for everything you do for our community and defense communities across the country. Today I’m requesting that you further show your support by joining the Defense Communities Caucus for the 115thCongress.
The bipartisan, bicameral caucus is as important as ever for providing members and staff information on the impact of budget cuts and sequestration on communities, installations, former and potential BRAC areas, service members, military families and veterans. It is helpful to us to have you in the room when these issues are discussed at the staff and member levels.
To join the House Defense Communities Caucus, contact Andrew Ashley in Rep. Marta Roby’s office at firstname.lastname@example.org or Stephen Clement in Rep. Joe Courtney’s office at email@example.com.
If you have any questions, please let me know, or you can reach out to Matt Borron at the Association of Defense Communities (ADC) at firstname.lastname@example.org or (202) 640–1494.
As always we appreciate all you do for us.
