The Association of Defense Communities (ADC) is the leading national organization supporting defense communities. ADC’s Advisory Services brings the support, knowledge, and experience of our membership to your community through a variety of fee-based assistance programs:

Community Workshops

ADC brings together local leaders – installation, local government and the private sector – to identify shared concerns and opportunities related to a given set of issues and then works with the community to develop a strategic plan for moving forward.

Site Visits

ADC staff and members conduct site visits to assess local programs and relationships and recommend changes that can help accomplish shared objectives.

Project Tours

ADC organizes tours to installations and communities where participants can learn about best practices and engage in peer-to-peer exchange.

Research Initiatives

ADC staff works with member communities to explore economic trends, changing environments, potential new strategies, or other research topics.

Communications Strategy and Production

ADC can work with member communities to develop a communications plan and materials to raise awareness of the impact of installations on the community, enhance the community’s image or garner support for new initiatives. Services include custom publication design and video production.
